We are expert organisers of workshops, events, conferences and exhibitions. We take charge of your event from the conceptualisation to implementation and documentation.

Through our network of 800+ water, environment and data journalists and scientists in the 10 countries of the Nile Basin, we identify the common themes presented in these stories and develop cross-border stories.

We have expert skills in data sourcing, analysis, visualisation and production of interactive maps. We can access data from all countries in the Nile Basin through our network of trained country coordinators and journalists. We make data kept in PDFs and government offices accessible through Flourish, Datawrapper and other professional Data Visualisation softwares to produce interactive dataviz that can be published on different media houses.

To create impact, we take stories back to the communities in which they were covered through community exhibitions and screenings. During these events, we engage the community to find out if they feel well represented, get their feedback from the photos/stories, find out how well they understand the subject matter and ask them to provide possible solutions to the problems raised. We also follow up on the story for any developments, engage all stakeholders and call for commitments from all community members and stakeholders to address these problems. By doing this, we hope to inspire collective action towards more sustainable environmental practices.

We know how to reach young and diverse audiences through innovations such as our WhatsApp Chatbot, Mobile Magazines, NileWell platform, community story exhibitions and multimedia stories. For any audience you want to reach, we can tailor strategies to reach them.

We create unique linkages between scientists, journalists and environmental activists to increase the reach and impact of scientific research. Through our NileWell platform and events, our journalists connect with scientists and report stories, translating their research into common knowledge.

We bring together the power of data journalism, multimedia storytelling, and local knowledge to produce content that informs, inspires, and drives impact across the Nile Basin. We partner with media outlets, nonprofits, and private companies to create tailored, high-quality content that brings critical issues, like water, climate, environment, and development, into sharper public focus. We do this through multimedia & investigative storytelling, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) narratives, data visualisations & interactive maps and content strategy and editorial support.
