Africa’s first for its kind waste-to- energy plant construction work in Addis Ababa has reached 96 percent. Reppie waste-to- energy project which is going to completed this year, incinerate 85 percent of Addis Ababa’s waste every day and will supply 30 percent of city’s household electricity needs, according to Mr. Wondimu Tenkir, project manager of the construction division.
